Well it's a brand new year and before you know it the festival season will be here... This year you are going to see some major changes in Argentucky Blues with a few new faces and some serious in your face hard driving blues. Duffy King on guitar returns to Argentucky Blues along with his right hand man on percussion Jimmy Pryor!!!

Argentucky Blues is focusing on bringing you a whole different style of blues, different from what all the other blues groups on the circuit are playing. With Duffy and Reichlin on guitar anything can happen at any time, believe me when I say not ever do they play the same song the same way twice. Every song is a musical adventure not only for the group but for the fans as well.

Argentucky Blues will be adding dates to our calendar soon so please make sure to check back for new dates. As you know we lost long time friend and guitarist Timothy Jon Lamb who is now up in the heavens jammin with his hero Jimi Hendrix. Filling in for Tim was long time friend Reichlin Small who is now family in Argentucky Blues so make sure and give him a nice warm welcome when you see him.

Make sure and check out our Classic Rock group Bad Apples too!!! We are taking the state by storm with the jaw dropping guitar duo of Duffy King and Reichlin Small please check us out at www.badappleslive.com

Make sure and check out Flint's Hottest Live Music Club!!! Blackstone's Bar & Grill 531 S. Saginaw Flint, MI 48502

About Argentucky Blues
Argentucky Blues
Bassist Johnny Michael King of Argentine Michigan had a vision in the summer of 2005, but he knew it would take some time and patience to put all the right pieces of the puzzle together. Johnny had been touring the previous three summers with a blues band that was fun, but the music was just not the style he felt burning in his soul. Johnny recruited Jimmy Pryor on Percussion not only because of his great playing ability and great vocals but also because of Jimmy's great passion for the blues. Once he had the rhythm section, he had to find a vocalist and guitarist that loved and played the blues as much as he and Jimmy did. Now the hunt for a new guitarist Johnny didn't have to look too far. A close friend and fellow guitarist from a different group he had played with Duffy King was perfect, his guitar playing style and vocals was a perfect fit for what Johnny was looking for. Also playing guitar is long time friend Reichlin Small that filled in for Timothy Jon Lamb. Now only leaving one more piece needed to complete the puzzle Johnny was at a blues jam that a old high school and fellow musician held every Tuesday night and met keyboard player Ronnie Robinson. After playing several songs with Ronnie that night Johnny knew he had to look no further, now his group was complete.
